Data Update (October 21, 2008)

All NHD components of NHDPlus have been updated. The only change is NHDFlowlineVAA.StreamOrde has been set to 0 for all flowlines. This change has been made to encourage the use of the much improved Strahler Stream Order attribute that is distributed as an NHDPlus Extensions.

Tool Update (October 20, 2008)

The Basin Delineator Tool has been upgraded to run in both the 9.2 and 9.3 versions of ArcGIS. The new Basin Delineator Tool Version 1.009 is available on the
Tools Page.

Tool Update (July 30, 2008)

A number of the NHDPlus tools use a special set of data called "NHDPlusToolsAppData" that is available for download from the "Tools" page. Recently, an error was found in this data for hydrologic region 15. A new version of the data, V1.001, to fix this problem is now available from the "Tools" page.

Data Release (April 29, 2008)

The elevation grids for a number of processing units have been released again. The only change to these grids is the correction of the parameter "Zunits NO" to "Zunits 100" in the prj.adf file.

The NHDPlus Basin Delineator Tool has been released. It may be downloaded from the "Tools" page.

Tool Update (March 24, 2008)

Version 1.17 of the NHDPlus Append tool has been released. This is a maintenance release that fixes a problem experienced with some appended grid outputs.

Data Release (March 24, 2008)

The catchment shapefile and grid have been updated for NHDPlus region 10L in the Mississippi Drainage to correct the Prod_unit attribute which ties the catchments to the other NHDPlus grids.

Tool Update (March 13, 2008)

Version 1.03 of the VAACOMObjectNavigator has been released. This is a maintenance release that fixes a rare problem experienced when using a distance to limit the navigation.
